研究 Calendar: List of forms and deadlines.

教师 Activity Report (FAR): The annual faculty research and creative activity award has been established to recognize research and creative scholarship of Andrews University faculty members. Awards are given to each faculty member who submits an annual 教师 Activity Report with scored activities.

教师 研究 Grant (FRG): Andrews University, through the 办公室 研究 and Creative Scholarship, competitively awards 教师 研究 Grants (FRG) on a yearly basis to qualified university faculty. University faculty members from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. The pre-proposal (recommended) submission deadline is January 31 with final submission due by February 28. Applications will be reviewed, and notification of awards made by March 31.   

External Grants: The 办公室 研究 and Creative Scholarship actively supports faculty in identifying funding sources and preparing effective proposals for external support.  The Scholarly 研究 team will facilitate the development of competitive grant proposals to external foundations and agencies.

General Conference Grants: Occassionally, 教师 研究 Grants are eligible for funding from the General Conference. In the event that a project is funded by the GC, all funds are routed through the 办公室 研究 and Creative Scholarship

本科 研究 Scholar (URS): The 办公室 Scholarly 研究 & Creative Scholarship awards 本科 研究 Scholar awards of $750 to undergraduates involved in an independent research project under the guidance of a faculty mentor, in the mentor’s area of expertise.  The awards are available each semester of the academic year and during the summer.

研究生 Student Grants in Aid of 研究 (GAR): 研究生 students are invited to apply for a Grant-in-Aid-of-研究 for up to $1000 to help defray their research expenses (e.g., travel for research and other research expenses). Up to twenty grants will be awarded annually on a competitive basis. 

Grant Writing Grants: Grant Wiring Grants to support our faculty in securing time to write and submit external research grant applications.

Predatory Publishers: The James White 图书馆 provides a number of resources regarding journals that are considered to be predatory rather than respected academic outlets. All journals indexed by 斯高帕斯 are considered to be respected academic journals.

研究 Software: Andrews University has site licenses for NVivo, SPSS, and Endnote.
